What formula is best for my 6 week old little girl, to help her gain the most weight?

My little girl weighed 8 lbs and 6 ozs when she was born. I tried breastfeeding for about 3 weeks and she wouldn't gain any wight. She got down to 7 lbs and 9 ozs. So, I started formula.

She is finally up to 9 lbs and 4 ozs. She is low on the growth chart. She eats between 16 and 18 ozs a day. What can I do to help her grow like she is supposed to. Her doctor is not worried yet, but we are hoping she will step it up a notch. Please help.

Why is my baby not gaining weight?

My son is 4 months old and has only gained 3# since birth. He nurses every 2-3 hours and takes about an hour to eat. I pumped one day to see how much he ate and he took 30oz.

My doctor recommended fortifying my bottles of breastmilk with a scoop of formula powder and now he seems constipated. He also gets a very distended abdomen following feedings, and has a lot of gas. (That's normal, not just with the addition of formula). Can you give me any advice to help him gain weight?

How Do I Get My Baby to Gain Weight?

My son is 6 1/2 months old and weighs 15 lbs. In my opinion, I think that is a little small for his age. I'm getting concerned because I think he is too small for his age.
