Nursing Problems: Too Much Milk?

Hi, Heather!
I was writing to seek help with a new challenge I am facing with my 7 week old. We have had our ups and downs but lately we have been on an up. Well, that was until this past week. The baby has begun to scream, push away, kick her feet and claw at my clothes and face each time I try to bring her to me. She will latch on, suck for a few seconds, then bite down and pull off.
This hurts so bad but I am not sure how to calm her enough to get her to nurse the way she used to. I have noticed her tummy is making gurgling noises, something I haven't noticed before. To combat this, I have tried gas drops and even gripe water... no success. The fact she has backed off on her nursing has also led to no poopy diapers in a 24 hour period and I am thinking my supply is starting to decrease. I have tried to pump at night but getting it done during the day has become impossible due to the crying baby.
Does my situation sound familiar? What do you recommend?
Ann :)
