C-Section Recovery Question

by Jennifer
(Seymour, TN)

I had a c section 3 weeks ago...Above and across my cut.

It feels like a very hard muscle or something. Is this normal?

Things I Learned...
by: Anonymous

Hi! I too had a c-section with my first baby and remember the area around the incision being swollen and tender for a long time even after it had healed. Hopefully, you'll be seeing your doctor soon but I wouldn't hesitate to call just to check that there is no infection and things are healing well.

Be sure to take it easy, even though you probably are feeling better than you did at first you are still in recovery mode! I remember I would start to feel better and then overexert myself (there is so much to do with a new baby in the house and so little time), but it would set me back weeks.
