At the end it's all worth it

After 30 hours of labor pain and 2 hours of pushing my doctor finally said that I needed a c-section. I was pretty upset because I didn't want that ugly scar, but there was no way out of it.
The doctor had to put me to sleep since I could feel them poking my stomach where they were about to cut. When I woke up I was in the most excruciating pain. My anesthesia was wearing off and I kept asking the nurse sitting next to the bed was why it hurt so much. Her response: you just had surgery. Every little move I tried to make hurt. AND to make matters worse I couldn't eat the food I wanted, I had to stick with liquids until my doctor said so.
Well the best part about this ordeal was the beautiful little girl that came out of it. I would tell family that it was the most painful thing I had experienced in my life but I would go through it again for my 8.6 pound little angel............ and four weeks ago I did.
My second c-section was a breeze. I went in knowing what to expect. I had explained to my doctor about my previous doctor having to put me to sleep. Well this time around she didn't need to. I couldn't feel a thing. And on the plus side my husband was able to be there with me through surgery. I didn't even feel any pain the whole day after the surgery. That kind of anesthesia worked!
The only bad thing was that I had an awful cough. After the pain kicked in and anesthesia wore off at one point the cough brought me to tears. Well like I said at the end it's all worth it. My 9.1 pound handsome boy came out of all this. I am the proud parent of a 3 1/2 year old little girl and a 4 weeks and a day year old boy :0)
