A bad review of Playtex VentAire Bottles

I have a friend who LOVES these bottles, so being a first time mom, I thought I would try them out. At first I really liked them, especially the wider ones.

I am primarily breastfeeding but since returning to work I've had to pump and then my sitters feed the baby with my pumped milk. So, the wider ones were better because the nipples are more like a breast.

However, I have since had two bottles leak all over the place. And for any breastfeeding moms, you know how sad it is to see your milk all over everything and not in your baby's belly.

I don't own a dishwasher, so everything is handwashed, I looked at the plastic insert in the bottom of the bottles that leaked and they were both warped.. not sure how this happened since we don't even heat the bottles, just place them in warm water. I don't recommend these bottles at all, and I'm writing a letter of complaint to the company.
