Once in a while I get an itch to give something away. And when I do, I post it here. What, exactly, do I giveaway? Well, I've given away boardbooks, I've given away lotions, I've given away clothes, gift certificates, iPhone apps, baby books... it all depends. It may be something brand-named. Or, it may be something made by a talented mom trying to build a name for herself. I insist on only two things. First, it must be a no-strings-attached giveway. (None of that "sign up for 3 deals and get a $100 gift certificate".) And second, it must be high-quality. This means I do NOT give away things I make. Because I'm not talented enough to make anything worth giving away. In fact, I'm not exaggerating when I say that my skills haven't much improved past the "bowl" I made my mom in pottery class in high school (it leaks). My skills and talents lie elsewhere.
What will be in my big box of
giveaways this month?
What am I giving away today?
Well...nothing at the moment. My kids have officially lodged a complaint with my partner-in-arms (aka husband) that I'm "grumpy". And since Christmas is just a few weeks away, I'm slowing down in order to shed my grumpiness and reflect on the importance of this holiday. So I'm putting the breaks on giveaways for the time being. However..., let me encourage you to consider (if you haven't already), becoming a Merry Mother with me. These are my closest EiR (Essential Infant Resource) friends, and I always spill the beans with them first. If you want to get a heads up (and a few double entries) on the next contest, subscribing to my newsletter, The Merry Mother will keep you in the EiR Loop.
