What is it about baby contests and giveaways that are so appealing? There's something about bragging online and getting free stuff that draws us in and almost forces the "enter" button to be pushed.

Here at the Essential Infant Resource (EiR), we're no exception. We love seeing those adorable faces and laughing at those costumes. We love hearing your stories and reading about your recommendations.

The "Read to Your Baby" Book Contest

Experts are unanimous: Reading to your baby at an early age promotes healthy brain development. (Read more on this here.) Does this mean you break out your old philosophy books and start reading? Well, anything is better than nothing... But why not make it easy on yourself (and your squirmy infant) and choose books babies (and mommies) can both enjoy?
